The “Route des Sens Authentiques” highlights the quality of the products of Corsica

The “Route des Sens Authentiques” (The Authentic Senses Way) is a Quality Charter which groups local providers within micro-regions; it gives visitors the guarantee of a warm welcome and original products. Today 12 Designations of Origin (Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée or AOC) for wines, brocciu cheese, olive oil, honey, chestnut flour and charcuterie as well as Protected Geographical Indications (Indications Géographiques Protégées or IPG), like Clementine and hazelnut, enhance the excellence of the Corsican products…

Since the Island of Corsica is a mountain in the sea, each of its many valleys enjoys a different exposure and individual micro-climate. It also offers a wide variety of soils which are particularly suitable for grape growing.

These different terroirs associated to the authentic varieties of grape and the know-how of our winemakers offer powerful fine red wines suitable for ageing, rosé wines with strong personality and magical white wines…
